Antiperspirants are designed to reduce sweat production. They typically contain aluminum-based compounds, such as aluminum chloride, aluminum zirconium, or aluminum chloralhydrate. These compounds form temporary plugs in the sweat ducts, which helps to reduce the amount of sweat.
Deodorants, on the other hand, mask odor. Deodorants often contain chemical fragrance ingredients to provide a pleasant scent and mask any remaining body odor. Their primary function is odor control rather than sweat reduction
An alternative option is DRY FIVE which is formulated to neutralize the sweat glands and inhibiting bacteria growth on the skin which are in turn responsible for breaking down sweat. DRY FIVE also has a mild natural lavender smell which is calming and non toxic.
