I sweat a lot. Why? And so quickly!

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition characterized by excessive sweating beyond what is necessary to regulate body temperature. It affects various parts of the body, including the hands (palmar hyperhidrosis), feet (plantar hyperhidrosis), and underarms (axillary hyperhidrosis).
Hyperhidrosis can significantly impact a person's quality of life, causing embarrassment, social anxiety, and discomfort. There are two main types of hyperhidrosis: primary (idiopathic) and secondary. Primary hyperhidrosis is the most common form and often begins during childhood or adolescence. It typically affects specific areas of the body and is thought to be caused by overactive sweat glands. Secondary hyperhidrosis, on the other hand, is usually caused by an underlying medical condition or a side effect of medication.
The exact cause of primary hyperhidrosis is unknown, although it may have a genetic component as it often runs in families. Secondary hyperhidrosis can be caused by various factors, including hormonal imbalances, certain medications, infections, metabolic disorders, neurological conditions, and other underlying medical conditions. .
People with hyperhidrosis often have to suffer psychological embarrassment as well. This is why we have created DRY FIVE which has been created with palmar hyperhidrosis and plantar hyperhidrosis in mind. DRY FIVE dries out the sweat glands while providing a comfortable feeling to the skin.
